Los Perros Urban Farming is…
Los Perros Urban Farming is a small-scale market garden based in Malmö, Sweden, on 3000m2 within the city limits. We are always experimenting with new crops while of course, growing the classics at the same time. We grow everything in the open, using only hand tools, custom built Broadforks, organic seeds & different composting methods, like vermicompost (worm compost), biochar & Bokashi.
WE DON’T GROW VEGGIES, WE BUILD SOIL!
Whatever comes out of the ground while using this mantra is a surefire way to build a better future - but it also usually ends up in the best veggies we have ever grown too!
We aim to use everything that we produce while also pushing ourselves & the restaurants we work with to try new, unique ways to experience our crops. We are always testing out new ways to raise our crops to get the maximum yield while caring for the soil & thinking of the next crop that will be in its place.
We grow using organic principles and follow Permaculture guidelines.
ALL our deliveries are done by bike, keeping it local & emission free.

CAFÉ & FARMSTAND
FLAX. Swing by Malmö’s very own Café & Farmstand! Based right in the heart of Malmö (Sölvesborgsgatan 10, next to Folket’s Park). The goal with Flax is to create a space where EVERYTHING is local, produced on a small scale, sustainable & of course has a vegan menu!
Flax is open:
Wednesdays - Saturdays 10-17:00
Sundays 10-16:00
Flax offers Lunch, Fika, Fresh seasonal Veggies, Sustainable products & ALL of Los Perros Urban Farming’s products (Kimchi, Sauerkraut, Chilli Sauce, Herb Salts, Marmelades, & more)
Flax opened Midsummer 2019, shortly after we opened our doors to Malmö we received the honour of being placed in the WHITE GUIDE! Since then thousands of wonderful people (& DOGS!) have walked through our doors, making us feel as though we have created a safe space for us all.
Thanks to our loyal customers, we just won MALMÖ’S BÄSTA CAFÉ according to MALMÖ GASTRONOMY AWARDS!!

A new addition is coming to the family! Flax is getting a new neighbour - FIR.
Myself (Buddha), together with friend Mark have decided to expand - so that Los Perros Urban Farming will not only have its very own Cafe (FLAX), its very own product line (Pepper Pepper Deli) but also its very own RESTAURANT & WINE BAR! The idea behind FIR will be a place to show the versatility of what we grow. Focusing on SELF PRODUCED veggies, seasonality, small scale food, local beers & natural wines. Going back to basics to showcase the extreme possibilities & HUGE flavours that Malmö has to offer.

Have you heard of REKO-Ring?
In the Spring of 2017, together with some other like-minded people, Los Perros Urban Farming started up REKO-RING MALMÖ; An online style of farmers market.
Each week different local farmers, bakers, butchers and other organic producers put out ads for 'What's Harvesting This Week', people comment of which posts they would like to buy something from, a total amount is decided and paid for in advance... next step, pick up your pre-ordered goods.
The best part - Because everything is pre-ordered, THERE IS NO WASTE!
This is a direct way for locals to meet and support local farmers & producers without any middle hands. We are currently using Facebook as the platform for this. Join the group (link below). The Drop-Off point is Thursday's 17:30-18:30, in the parking of Kommendanthuset (Malmöhusvägen 5, opposite Malmö Museet)
